I'm back!

Sorry I have been MIA the past couple of weeks. I had been out of work for a few months and just starting going back these past few weeks. I forgot how tiring it is to go back to work! Here is an oldie but a goodie of my crafts. I made this one just a few months ago, so it's really not that old!

My front door is HUGE (tall vs. wide). It is so big that I have to stand on a chair when I want too hang a wreath on a wreath hanger. I wanted something more permanent on my door than a wreath. So I pulled out my trusty Silhouette SD.

I grew up on the East Coast in Massachusetts so I knew that Pineapples were a popular Welcome sign. I told my husband (who grew up in Texas) that I wanted to make a Welcome sign for our front door with a pineapple on it. He of course had to say "Why???" So I looked it up to prove it to him (He's the kind of guy that needs facts). Here is a link about why pineapples are the symbol of Welcome. They stand as a "symbol of hospitality and warm welcome". The link will give you a longer history about the pineapple.

So here is what I made for my front door! Happy President's Day!
